Dreaming of an ideal summer cottage, but an unsightly fence or building spoils the big picture? This problem can be solved.
Decorate outbuildings
To organically fit the wall into the overall design of the garden plot, disguise it with greenery, which will not only decorate the shed or fence, but also save space in a small area. These can be outdoor flowerpots with ampelous plants or simple containers in the form of plastic bottles or painted cans.
You can decorate the old wall with a decorative lattice – it’s cheaper than rebuilding the entire structure. Tapestries are usually decorated with climbing plants.
An even more democratic way to transform an unsuccessful building in the UK is to sand it and paint it in the color of the landscape, for example, green. You can install false windows on the walls, supplement them with flower pots, and also hang a mirror that will divert attention from the unsightly design.
Transform the fence
An unsightly fence can become a real artistic canvas for a creative person. To mask the fence, fit:
- boxes or planters with plants;
- old things to create a kind of exhibition – a bicycle, mailboxes, a spinning wheel, etc.;
- painting with acrylic paints;
- pallets with edible greens planted in them;
- hedge of perennials: ivy, hops, girlish grapes.
If you do not want to wait a long time for the flowers to grow, use a rolled green fence. The finished fence is either artificial grass or PVC leaves. The material is resistant to temperature changes and does not deteriorate under the influence of ultraviolet radiation. Products are easily attached to a real fence or frame, they pass air well, but protect from prying eyes. The fence can be of any size. The only negative is that the artificial material is flammable, so be careful.
